Learn to Fly-Fish - We offer instruction for the beginner as well as the experienced fisherman, from basic casting techniques to advanced methods in nymphing. One of our goals is that all of our clients will leave with more knowledge and a better understanding of fly fishing in northern Maine. This package is designed for 2 hunters with 2 guides and includes instruction in map and compass, scouting from maps, scouting in the field, tracking, and basic hunting techniques. Learn to use maps and compass - Our mapping courses compare to those taught in the military. In just three days we can give you the confidence, knowledge, and ability to become an expert in land navigation. This course is offered in Jan., Feb., and March  to 1 or 2 people at a time. The course is designed for hunters, hikers, backpackers, etc, and includes instruction in how to use and read a topographic map, how to use a compass, how to use a map and compass together. How to locate points on a map, [UTM grid system] and applying what you have learned to gain the confidence you need to use these methods while in the field.
