Fish for Landlocked Salmon and Lake Trout from May (ice out) through September on large lakes.

Northern Maine is noted for having some of the best wild and native Brook trout populations left in the U.S. If you're looking for a remote fishing adventure, with accommodations that include modern conveniences, you should consider northern Maine.
